Lego Layout to be Featured at Brick Universe – Lego Convention in Raleigh
NRV has been invited to display our LEGO layout at the upcoming Brick Universe LEGO FAN Convention at the Raleigh Convention Center on April 8th and 9th. This is an excellent opportunity to talk about NRVMRRC, model trains, and our show. We will need volunteers to help at our display. We will also need the salespeople in our group to sell our show to the LEGO vendors. Please thank Bob Bradley for this opportunity. http://www.brickuniverse.org
Road Trip!! 3/11-3/12/2017
The club has been invited to an Open House at the clubhouse of the Chesapeake Bay and Western Model Railroad Club in Yorktown VA.
Their club layout features 16 scale miles of double-track mainline, multiple sidings, marshaling yards, and 247 turnouts. Their clubhouse, located at 110-F Dare Road, Grafton, VA 23692, is about 3 ½ hours from the NRV clubhouse.
We would like to organize a series of carpools for the club to visit.
